What is CVE-2026-8145?

The WholesaleX – B2B & Wholesale Plugin for WooCommerce is susceptible to a Limited Privilege Escalation risk due to inadequate validation of the 'wholesalex_registration_role' parameter in all versions up to and including 3.0.8. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers the potential to register themselves as any existing WholesaleX role, thereby gaining unauthorized access to restricted functionalities. A partial mitigation was introduced in version 2.3.8, but users are advised to upgrade to the latest version to secure their installations.
