What is CVE-2026-81654?

The Photo Gallery and Sliders plugin for WordPress prior to version 4.5.0 has a critical access control vulnerability. This issue arises when the plugin fails to verify whether users possess the necessary options capability before applying changes to image sizing settings. As a result, users who have been granted only gallery-management capabilities by an administrator can modify site-wide settings, posing a significant risk to the integrity of site configurations.
