What is CVE-2026-82183?
The OAuth Single Sign On plugin for WordPress suffers from a significant flaw in its handling of the Steam single sign-on process. This flaw permits unauthenticated attackers to bypass authentication mechanisms, allowing them to log in as any non-administrator user. Furthermore, the vulnerability enables these malicious actors to create new user accounts, potentially compromising the site's security and integrity.
