What is CVE-2026-84088?

The Xpro Addons for Elementor plugin, used within WordPress, fails to properly validate and sanitize widget link settings. This oversight permits users with contributor roles and above to inject malicious JavaScript code. The injected code gets stored and executed in the browser of any user interacting with the compromised widget, exposing websites to significant security risks.
