What is CVE-2026-84220?

The Kirki WordPress plugin prior to version 6.3.2 is vulnerable to a serious issue where it allows shortcodes in comments to be executed. This happens because the plugin renders comments without properly filtering or moderating them. As a result, unauthenticated users can exploit this vulnerability to run arbitrary shortcodes on the site. Additionally, this vulnerability exposes private custom fields of the viewed page, further compromising the security and integrity of WordPress sites using the affected version of the Kirki plugin.

Affected Version(s)

Kirki 0 < 6.3.2

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
