What is CVE-2026-8443?

The WP Review Slider Pro plugin for WordPress exposes a critical SQL Injection vulnerability through the 'stypes' and 'slocations' parameters. When handling the 'wppro_get_overall_chart_data' AJAX action, improper sanitization via the stripslashes() function allows an attacker with Subscriber-level access to manipulate SQL queries. This vulnerability arises from the concatenation of user-supplied data directly into SQL statements without proper parameterization, leading to severe data exposure risks. Moreover, the response also reveals the executed SQL string, providing an easier path for attackers to exploit the vulnerability.
