What is CVE-2026-84907?

The Eventin WordPress plugin prior to version 4.1.24 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in its offline payment method. This flaw arises from the reliance on a nonce that is accessible to unauthenticated users and the failure to verify that the caller is the rightful owner of the order. As a result, unauthorized individuals can reset existing orders and their associated attendees, putting paid tickets at risk and allowing malicious actors to exploit the system without detection.

Affected Version(s)

Eventin 4.1.5 < 4.1.24

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
