What is CVE-2026-85006?

The HappyAddons for Elementor plugin for WordPress before version 3.50.0 contains a security flaw that fails to properly validate an icon value within one of its button widgets. This oversight allows users with Contributor-level access and higher to inject malicious event-handler attributes. Consequently, when a page is viewed, this injected JavaScript executes in the browsers of all visitors, including those with elevated privileges who may review the content, posing a significant security risk and potential for abuse.
