What is CVE-2026-85015?

The Unlimited Elements for Elementor plugin prior to version 2.0.21 has a significant flaw where it fails to properly sanitize file paths contained within uploaded archives. This oversight permits authenticated users, typically Administrators or Editors under certain configurations, to exploit the asset-management feature, resulting in the potential to write unrestricted files. This can include executable PHP files placed outside the designated upload directory on servers that do not support the PHP zip extension, creating a pathway for Remote Code Execution.

Affected Version(s)

Unlimited Elements for Elementor 0 < 2.0.21

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
