What is CVE-2026-85121?

The Insurify plugin for WordPress prior to version 1.0 lacks proper authorization and nonce checks for a critical AJAX action. This oversight enables unauthenticated users to exploit the system, allowing them to create or modify arbitrary WordPress options with malicious request data. As a result, attackers can potentially take down the entire site or disable the Insurify plugin, leading to service interruptions and security breaches.

Affected Version(s)

Insurify 0 <= 1.0

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
