What is CVE-2026-85345?

The FV Flowplayer Video Player plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability due to improper validation of user-supplied URLs. This flaw, present in versions prior to 7.5.55.7212, allows users with Contributor-level access and above to initiate requests to internal systems on the server. While attackers can discern whether specified internal resources are reachable based on HTTP responses, the content of those resources remains undisclosed. This poses a risk by potentially exposing sensitive server responses without providing full access to internal systems.

Affected Version(s)

FV Flowplayer Video Player 7.5.44.7212 < 7.5.55.7212

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
