What is CVE-2026-85347?
The FV Flowplayer Video Player plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows users with Contributor roles and above to insert arbitrary web scripts. This occurs due to the plugin's failure to properly sanitize and escape user-supplied input before displaying it on a page. Consequently, when a higher-privileged user accesses the affected page, malicious scripts can execute, leading to potential security implications such as data theft or session hijacking.
