SQL Injection Flaw in Location Manager for WordPress
CVE-2026-85705

What is CVE-2026-85705?
The Location Manager plugin for WordPress is susceptible to SQL injection attacks through improperly processed 'latitude' and 'longitude' parameters in REST API calls. This vulnerability affects versions up to and including 2.3.38, allowing unauthenticated attackers to manipulate SQL queries by injecting malicious code. This can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive database information through various publicly accessible API endpoints, including geodir/v2/locations/cities and /regions. The risk is heightened by insufficient input validation and escaping in the current SQL query handling.
