What is CVE-2026-86707?

The Private Feed Key WordPress plugin, prior to version 0.1, contains a vulnerability that fails to properly validate the authentication key used to access feed requests. This oversight enables unauthenticated attackers to potentially log in as any user on the WordPress site, including those with administrative privileges. Attackers can exploit this flaw by matching any provided key to stored user metadata values, making it critical for site administrators to update to the latest plugin version to mitigate potential security risks.
