What is CVE-2026-86800?

The Hide My WP Ghost plugin for WordPress prior to version 7.0.11 is susceptible to a loopback security flaw, which fails to adequately verify security-check requests when disabling login and URL protection features. This shortcoming allows unauthorized users to manipulate the verification values, ultimately leading to the exposure of the concealed WordPress login page. As a result, attackers can gain access to the login page that was initially hidden, increasing the risk of unauthorized access to the website.
