What is CVE-2026-86814?
The UsersWP plugin for WordPress fails to ensure that a social login provider validates the ownership of an email address before using it to link to an existing account. This flaw allows attackers without authentication to log in as any user, including administrators, simply by asserting control over an email address through their social account. This vulnerability poses a critical risk to user accounts and necessitates immediate updates to protect against unauthorized access.
