Authorization Bypass Vulnerability in 3D Model Viewer Plugin for WordPress
CVE-2026-8682

4.3MEDIUM

What is CVE-2026-8682?

The 3D Viewer plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an authorization bypass, allowing authenticated users with subscriber-level access or higher to manipulate plugin settings. This occurs because the plugin fails to verify whether a user is authorized to perform certain actions. Consequently, attackers can write arbitrary data to the 'ar_try_on_settings' option in the database through the associated REST endpoint, compromising the integrity and security of the plugin.

Affected Version(s)
