What is CVE-2026-86833?

The MetForm plugin for WordPress prior to version 4.3.1 is susceptible to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. It allows adversaries to exploit a lack of sanitization and escaping of form-field values before they are embedded into the HTML body of email notifications. This oversight permits unauthorized users to inject arbitrary markup into emails sent to both administrators and users, potentially leading to harmful exploits and compromising user data integrity.

Affected Version(s)

MetForm 0 < 4.3.1

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
