What is CVE-2026-87070?

The Forminator Forms plugin for WordPress prior to version 1.57.2.1 fails to validate that requests originate from a trusted proxy, leading to a situation where client-supplied forwarding headers are prioritized over the connecting IP address. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated users to bypass submission limits imposed by the plugin. As a result, they can cast an unlimited number of votes in polls and manipulate the recorded information associated with their submissions, jeopardizing the integrity of form data.
