What is CVE-2026-87074?

The Forminator Forms WordPress plugin prior to version 1.57.2.1 is vulnerable due to improper handling of saved-draft notifications. This flaw allows unauthenticated visitors to leverage the plugin's capabilities to send messages from the site using its own mail configurations without any restrictions. Additionally, the plugin inadvertently provides a token that can be exploited multiple times, enabling malicious actors to send arbitrary messages containing links of their choice through the site's established template. Users are strongly advised to update to the latest version to mitigate this security risk and ensure the integrity of their communications.

Affected Version(s)

Forminator Forms 1.17.1 < 1.57.2.1

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
