What is CVE-2026-87762?

The Adwised Web Push Notification Plugin for WordPress, prior to version 2.5.7, is susceptible to an authorization bypass that allows unauthenticated users to perform state-changing operations. This occurs due to inadequate authorization checks and a bypass of secret key validation when the secret key is not configured. Consequently, attackers can inject arbitrary JavaScript into the plugin, which is executed in the browsers of all visitors to the affected site, leading to potential exploitation.

Affected Version(s)

Adwised Web Push Notification 0 <= 2.5.7

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
