What is CVE-2026-87831?

The Checkout Field Manager for WooCommerce plugin, prior to version 7.9.7, contains a flaw that allows authenticated users to delete arbitrary media attachments belonging to other users due to inadequate validation of ownership before an attachment is deleted. This vulnerability can be exploited by customers to manipulate the media library, potentially leading to unauthorized access and loss of data integrity.
