What is CVE-2026-87846?

The Nova Poshta Shipping plugin for WordPress versions up to 1.19.8 is exposed to serious security risks due to a lack of authorization, nonce, and ownership checks on an AJAX action. This oversight allows unauthenticated users to delete shipment records associated with arbitrary orders. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by issuing requests that delete these records without any restrictions, leveraging the store’s API credentials to make waybill-deletion requests. This compromises the integrity of order management and can severely disrupt business operations.

Affected Version(s)

Shipping for Nova Poshta 1.18.7 <= 1.19.8

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
