What is CVE-2026-87916?

The WPBot plugin for WordPress prior to version 8.6.0 is susceptible to an information disclosure vulnerability. This issue arises from the lack of proper capability and nonce checks on the AJAX action responsible for listing stored chat sessions. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this weakness to obtain sensitive information, including the names, email addresses, and phone numbers of chat visitors by querying a broad date range.
