What is CVE-2026-87966?

The Easy Appointments plugin for WordPress prior to version 4.0.2.2 is susceptible to an authorization bypass vulnerability. This issue arises from the lack of proper ownership checks on its unauthenticated appointment-reservation endpoint. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability to modify existing appointments identified by user-supplied IDs, enabling them to overwrite appointment details and potentially delete arbitrary appointments without any authentication.
