What is CVE-2026-8825?
The Elementor Website Builder plugin for WordPress prior to version 4.1.4 contains a flaw that allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to improperly access private post data through its REST endpoints. This vulnerability permits these users to retrieve sensitive information, including the titles, body content, and metadata of private posts, pages, and drafts authored by other users, including site administrators. Proper validation of user permissions is critical to ensure that private content remains secure.
