What is CVE-2026-88802?

Certain versions of the MDJM Event Management and Mobile Events Manager WordPress plugins are susceptible to an authorization bypass vulnerability. This flaw arises from a failure to validate user capabilities, nonces, or the specific type of record when executing delete requests for playlist entries. As a result, unauthenticated users can exploit this vulnerability to permanently delete arbitrary posts, pages, and media attachments without any authorization, circumventing standard trashing mechanisms. This could lead to significant data loss and disruption for website owners.
