What is CVE-2026-88814?

The YITH WooCommerce Gift Cards plugin for WordPress prior to version 4.38.1 lacks proper locking mechanisms for gift card balance updates during checkout. This vulnerability enables an attacker possessing a gift card code to exploit it by initiating multiple concurrent checkouts, potentially exceeding the original gift card balance, leading to unauthorized usage of the card.
