What is CVE-2026-88905?

The KeyWord Collector WordPress plugin prior to version 1.4 is vulnerable to a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attack due to inadequate authorization checks and insufficient output escaping. This allows unauthenticated users to store harmful JavaScript code within the plugin's settings. Consequently, when an administrator accesses the settings page or when a visitor views content utilizing the plugin's output, the malicious script is executed, potentially leading to data theft or site compromise.
