What is CVE-2026-9019?

The Easy Image Collage plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with author-level access and above to exploit Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This occurs through the manipulation of parameters, specifically 'grid[properties][borderColor]' and 'grid[images][N][attachment_url]', due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. Unlike standard content storage methods, the data is stored via update_post_meta(), bypassing WordPress's unfiltered_html restrictions and enabling attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that execute when users view the compromised pages.

Affected Version(s)
