What is CVE-2026-90952?

The WP Edit Password Protected WordPress plugin prior to version 2.0.7 suffers from an access control bypass issue, failing to properly enforce site-wide restrictions on the WordPress REST API. This flaw permits unauthenticated attackers to gain unauthorized access to the content of published posts and pages, undermining the purpose of the plugin which is designed to restrict access based on the site's configured access mode.
