What is CVE-2026-90966?

The Essential Real Estate plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that permits unauthorized users to activate paid listing packages without the necessary payment. This occurs due to insufficient validation of free activation requests in AJAX actions. As a result, a self-registered user can exploit this flaw, leading to a situation where the site records unauthorized paid invoices, potentially compromising the integrity of payment records and the overall functionality of the site.
