Insecure Direct Object Reference in LatePoint Appointment Booking Plugin for WordPress
CVE-2026-91050

4.3MEDIUM

What is CVE-2026-91050?

The LatePoint Appointment Booking Plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an Insecure Direct Object Reference issue due to insufficient validation in handling booking parameters. Specifically, the routes 'steps__start' and 'steps__load_step' permit an unauthenticated user to manipulate the 'params[presets][order_item_id]' parameter without verifying ownership. This oversight allows attackers to create unauthorized bookings and access sensitive information such as customer names, email addresses, and order codes from other users, leading to significant privacy risks.

Affected Version(s)
