What is CVE-2026-92435?

The Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin, prior to version 6.1.1, contains a significant security flaw that allows unauthenticated users to interact with sensitive REST API endpoints. This occurs due to inadequate checks in the permission callback, which permits unauthorized users to create persistent changes typically reserved for administrators. As a result, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate administrative data without proper credentials, posing a serious threat to the integrity of WordPress sites utilizing this plugin.
