What is CVE-2026-93546?

An integer overflow vulnerability exists in the mod_dav_fs module of Apache HTTP Server up to version 2.4.68. This flaw can be exploited by an authenticated WebDAV client with write access, allowing the client to trigger crashes in the worker processes. Additionally, it can lead to persistent corruption of a directory's property database through manipulated PROPPATCH requests that declare an excessive number of XML namespaces. This vulnerability poses significant risks to the stability and reliability of affected Apache server environments.
