What is CVE-2026-93885?

The Cryptocurrency Donation Box plugin for WordPress exhibits a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. Exploitation occurs when users access compromised pages. The vulnerability arises from the cdbbc_payment_verify AJAX action, which does not require user authentication and can have its nonce verification bypassed, as the required nonce is accessible to unauthenticated users within the publicly available wallets_data JavaScript object.
