The Loco Translate WordPress plugin, prior to version 2.8.9, contains a vulnerability that fails to properly sanitize and escape certain bundle configuration values before rendering them in an admin interface. This oversight allows users with translator capabilities and higher to exploit the vulnerability, potentially executing stored cross-site scripting attacks. Such attacks could compromise the security of high-privilege users, including administrators, by injecting malicious scripts when they access the affected admin page.
