What is CVE-2026-94260?

The Sifalo Pay WordPress plugin, prior to version 2.5.3, exhibits a serious flaw in its handling of payment returns. Specifically, the plugin fails to validate the ownership or authorization for orders being modified during payment return processes. This oversight could potentially allow unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary session metadata into any existing order. Additionally, attackers could manipulate the state of pending payments, automatically marking them as failed. Such vulnerabilities not only expose e-commerce platforms to data integrity issues but also undermine trust in online transactions.

Affected Version(s)

Sifalo Pay 2.0 < 2.5.3

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)

PoC code is written by security researchers to demonstrate the vulnerability can be exploited. PoC code is also a key component for weaponization which could lead to ransomware.
