What is CVE-2026-94297?
The Media Library Organizer plugin for WordPress prior to version 2.1.4 has a significant access control vulnerability. It fails to adequately verify whether a user has the necessary capabilities to manage a target taxonomy when creating new terms. This flaw permits users with contributor access and above to create publicly visible terms across any registered taxonomy on the site. Proper authentication checks are essential to prevent unauthorized modifications and maintain the integrity of the website's data.
