What is CVE-2026-96533?

The Testimonials Widget plugin for WordPress, up to version 4.0.4, fails to properly validate URLs supplied by users. This oversight allows unauthenticated individuals to manipulate the server into making requests to internal services and accessing the resulting data. As a result, sensitive information may be exposed due to inadequate restrictions on URL fetching, posing a significant security risk.
