What is CVE-2026-97332?

The User Private Files plugin for WordPress, prior to version 2.2.0, suffers from an access control issue on multisite installations. The plugin fails to enforce access restrictions on private files, as the essential rewrite rule for routing file requests and conducting access checks is not executed. This oversight permits unauthorized users to directly access other users' private files, compromising user privacy and data security.
