Command Execution Vulnerability in Cisco Small Business Routers

Summary
A vulnerability exists in the web-based management interface of several Cisco Small Business Routers that could allow an authenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands. This flaw stems from improper validation of user input in HTTP packets. By sending a specially crafted HTTP request, an attacker with valid administrative credentials can potentially exploit this vulnerability to gain root-level access, compromising sensitive data and device functionality. Cisco will not release updates to rectify this issue, heightening the risk for users of these affected routers.
