Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in WP Recipe Maker Plugin for WordPress
CVE-2025-14385
What is CVE-2025-14385?
The WP Recipe Maker plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This exploit occurs through the 'name' parameter, where insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes in the wprm-recipe-roundup-item shortcode can lead to arbitrary web scripts being injected into pages. Consequently, these scripts execute whenever a user visits an affected page, potentially compromising the security and integrity of user data.
