What is CVE-2026-87902?

An unauthenticated attacker can exploit a vulnerability in WordPress that allows get_page_template() to inadvertently resolve and include a chosen local .php file located outside of the active theme directories. When specific server conditions and configurations of the active theme are met, this can facilitate remote code execution, posing significant security risks.
